God's Plan of Salvation

Crossroads' purpose is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our music.  We feel that it is important to include this message on our page.

If you've never accepted Jesus as your Savior, what is written below is just for you.  There is nothing in life more important than to prepare yourself for eternity.  Please contact us if you have questions concerning salvation.  We don't have all the answers, but God's word does.

1. Recognize your condition
No one is good enough to go to Heaven on their own merit or goodness.  No matter how much good we do, we still fall short

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV)

2. Realize the penalty for sin
Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong.  The penalty for our sin is eternal death and separation from God in a place called hell.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death... (KJV)

3. Believe Christ died for you and arose from the dead
Christ's great love for us was shown when He died on the cross to pay our sin debt.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (KJV)
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (KJV)

4. Trust in Christ alone as your Saviour
Everlasting life is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ and offered freely to those who call upon Him by faith.
Romans 6:23 ...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJV)

If you realize you've never been saved, believe that Christ died for your sins, believe that he resurrected, and feel that God is speaking to your heart right now, you can pray for God to save you.

You may think that it cannot be that simple.  But, it is that simple!  It is scriptural. It is God's plan. My friend, believe on Jesus and receive Him as your Savior today.
